Greek Festival 2011

After the race we went to Pioneer Park for Farmer's Market. Aunt Angela got Dimitri this wonderful hat and a balloon dog!

Then it was off to the Greek Festival for food, pastries, tattoos and fun!

Kindergarten 101

Dimitri got suspended for hitting a boy at school today. Yes, that's right the first week of Kindergarten. I guess this little boy named Jack was teasing Dimitri about having stitches on his chin and Dimitri got upset and punched him. UGH... as a parent I was torn because if he is being picked on I want him to stick up for himself, but on the other hand I don't want him to feel he has to end every "fight" with a punch. Needless to say it was a rough week.

Dimitri went swimming with Matri and apparently overshot the pool and landed on his chin.

OUCH!!!

Dimitri loves Mario Brothers right now and keeps telling me he wants to grow a mustache. We were having this conversation so the doctor drew a mustache on Dimitri to make him smile.

Dimitri received a total of five stitches tonight and was a very brave solider tonight.

Second Day

This picture was taken when he got home from school. Dimitri got a black eye from the spider web on the playground. On the first day of preschool Dimitri fell into the toilet and on the second day of kindergarten he gets a black eye. I am dreading to see what the third day of first grade will bring.
